What is vehicle keeper information?
The DVLA holds a register containing details of all vehicles licensed for use on the road, not available for vehicles registered in Northern Ireland. This register also contains the name and address of the registered keeper of each vehicle. The registered keeper of a vehicle is the person or organisation responsible for the licensing and use of that vehicle - this is often, but not always, the legal owner. To proceed with a vehicle trace we will need to confirm your identity via a credit search to confirm residency and you will need to supply a landline telephone number so that we may confirm the vehicle trace instruction. To obtain DVLA log keeper data using false details is a criminal offence.
